Senior Citizens at Skills, Inc., Give Skowhegan Savings Patriotic
"Gift of Joy"

SKOWHEGAN, Maine - Senior citizens from Skills, Inc. have brought several patriotic arrangements to adorn Skowhegan Savings' main office lobby through the Fourth of July. Skills is a non-profit organization in Maine that helps all people with intellectual disabilities and other challenges to achieve their goals through employment, residential and supportive services, and through educating the public to eliminate barriers. The festive bouquets, made from brightly colored and handmade paper flowers and stars, are each called "A Gift of Joy."

" This spring we were delighted to display Gifts of Joy in our lobby and the Fourth of July arrangements are just as wonderful," said John C. Witherspoon, president and CEO of Skowhegan Savings. "These 'Gifts of Joy' will add a patriotic flair to our lobby during the holiday."
